‘Affection’, an orange roses limited edition print

This orange rose limited edition print has been reproduced from a photograph of an original oil painting by Karen Hollis.

This painting is one of a selection based on the orange rose which is called ‘Just Joey’. The rose has a very strong growth and beautiful fragrance. Fully open the blooms are about 5 inches in diameter. It was created in 1972 by Cants of Colchester in the United Kingdom. This ‘Just Joey’ rose is a beautiful rich marmalade colour and flowers profusely over the summer, growing paler as it ages.” Karen Hollis

This rose limited edition print is one of a set of three paintings that were created from the ‘Just Joey’ rose using the same colour palette – ‘Serpentine’, ‘Affection’ and ‘Curvaceous’.

Hollis specialises in bright, bold floral paintings that are flooded with light. Her pictures of flowers capture the viewer and draw them in. A statement piece for any wall.
