‘Curvaceous’, an orange rose bud limited edition print

This orange rose limited edition print has been reproduced from a photograph of an original oil painting by Karen Hollis.

“The inspiration behind this oil painting was to get as close to the heart of an orange rose bud as I could while still being able to show how powerful the structure is. The beauty of the light catching on the edges of the petals gives it real depth. I enjoyed blending the oranges to create the shapes that form this bold picture of a rose. The name curvaceous speaks for itself, it reflects the curvy nature of this striking rose. Karen Hollis

This rose limited edition print is one of a set of three paintings that were created from the ‘Just Joey’ rose using the same colour palette – ‘Serpentine’, ‘Affection’ and ‘Curvaceous’.

Hollis specialises in bright, bold floral paintings that are flooded with light. Her pictures of flowers capture the viewer and draw them in. A statement piece for any wall.
