SHAron Griffin
Sharon is a figurative artist who specialises in ceramic sculpture directly inspired by the woodland where she often explores places in which to ‘breathe’.... The textures, the smells, the secret spaces all provide a kind of ‘awakening’... Sharon uses the human figure to help communicate a sense of deeper meaning within humankind and of her own experience of being a woman. The sculptures represent a state of being; internal struggles of love, loss, displacement, vulnerability and strength.

LOUISE ERSKINE
Louise Erskine is a contemporary artist known for her expressive abstract landscapes and seascapes in watercolour and acrylic. Drawing inspiration from the rolling contours of the Sussex South Downs and the ever-changing moods of the South Coast, her work captures the essence of light, atmosphere, and movement found in these coastal and rural environments.
Si Uwins
Si explores the natural world of plants and trees and translates his extensive knowledge and love of plant life into imaginary and fantastical seed and pod-like structures. Each of Si’s sculptures is inspired by the shape and grain of the raw material which, with his knowledge of its structural capabilities, guides him to its finished form. Si’s work is intentionally made ‘human-size’ and is a reminder of how much beauty there is around us that shouldn’t be missed.
FLEUR GRENIER
Fleur is one of the few contemporary pewtersmiths working within the UK . She designs and makes pewter homeware and sculptures which have her own unique sculptural style. Her latest series ‘Home’ looks at what it means, not only to us as humans but also the many insects, mammals, fish and other creatures with which we share our planet. Fleur has magnified these environments and invites you to look closer into the lives of leaf-cutter ants and honey bees, to name a few.
ALISON INGRAM
Alison has a unique interpretation of wildlife, which is highly distinctive for it’s exploration into the world of colour, light, form and design. Her abstract wildlife paintings use harmonious colour and design to unite the painting and are instantly recognisable and unforgettable.
ZOE CLARE
Zoe is a Plymouth based artist who specialises in creating abstract forms, inspired by coral and other naturally occuring structures. She works predominantly with procelain and constantly tries to push the medium’s possibilities. Her work encapsulates organic simplicity and movement whilst the fine detailing encompasses time and process.
TESSA WOLFE MURRAY
Tessa is a ceramicist whose main work includes one-off vessels and wall pieces. She also creates a wide range of jewellery, buttons and batch produced vases. Working in high firing white earthenware clays Tessa adds a third dimension by introducing decisions involving contour and edge, fluidity, precision and balance. All vessel forms are slab-built, glazed inside and are designed to hold water.
JILL TATTERSALL
Colour is vital to Jill. She uses paints, inks, dyes and pure pigments to build up intense and glowing colours. Many of her pieces are made on her own hand-cast cotton paper which offers a seductive texture to work on, and can be moulded and manipulated. She experiments with materials and techniques, juxtaposing throwaway or reclaimed materials with costly ones such as pure pigments and gold and silver leaf.
CHRIS KAMPF
Based on natural forms, Chris’ simple interpretation of leaves, buds and flowers, all created in steel, stand out well against a garden backdrop. His designs have 360 degree interest, framing plants and buildings, while the steel surfaces reflect both sky and vegetation. Using either a ‘rustic’ or ‘shiny’ stainless finish and sometimes a combination, Chris’ sculptures can suit many situations, indoors or outside.
JUDITH BERRILL
Judith lives and paints in Hove. She is a regular exhibitor in the Brighton Open Houses and Lewes Artwave where she has enjoyed sell out shows of her walking paintings and plaster pieces which record her perambulations around the footpaths of the South Downs. These are topographically accurate records of the rights of way, field boundaries and crops and furrows of the land but painted, maplike, from the air.
